I write this letter as a Village of Highland Falls resident. I know that times in our village right now are very challenging and divided. However, I need to let you know about an incident that happened this past week that is extremely concerning to me.

Regardless of your political beliefs, your religious beliefs, we still want to celebrate the beauty this small village has. I am addressing a concern that came to me this week -- graffiti is beginning to show its face in our community. Phallic symbols are showing up on Church properties. This is very disturbing and very unacceptable.

Thankfully, the Highland Falls Police Department are working with us, but that is a very sad state of our affairs for our very small village. There is so much needed work to be done here!

Let’s stop the misbehavior from our adults. and start working on our next generation, our children.
