It took until very early Wednesday morning for the unofficial election results to be released in the Village of Highland Falls, due to a large number of absentee ballots that had to be verified.
In the mayoral race, Jim DiSalvo received the highest votes, 318. Carol Spisso received 254 and Pat Flynn 234.
For the two trustee seats, apparent winners are Peter Carroll with 467 votes and Aleena Olivia with 382. Sallie Dorsch received 356 votes and Jen Gargiulo 355.
