Who are the real radicals?

When a copy of the draft of the Dobbs decision of the Supreme Court was leaked to Politico, what was Senator Schumer’s response? Did he denounce the leaker and the unprecedented and illegitimate move to leak the document? Or, rather, did he blast the Court and attempt to push through the Senate a radical bill that was mostly theatre and doomed to failure from the start? Why is the Senator not standing up for the Court and protecting the third branch of the federal government? His position is without merit and again shows he needs to be shown the door in November. He needs to be replaced by Joe Pinion.

While Senator Schumer has shown his lack of concern for the Supreme Court and the Constitution, other nefarious actions have been taking place. A gunman was arrested in the area of Justice Kavanaugh’s residence, intent on killing the justice. Pregnancy centers in various parts of the country, including New York, have been firebombed. These actions should be a wake-up call that the rhetoric and illegal demonstrations following the illegitimate leak of the draft Dobbs decision has gone much too far. Have Democrat leaders condemned these actions?

But wait, there’s more. The New York legislature wasn’t satisfied that it legalized barbaric abortion procedures up to the point of birth, it decided it needed to harass and persecute pro-life crisis pregnancy centers, too. The Pregnancy Center Report Bill (Bill S.470-Hoylman/A.5499-Glick) empowers the Health Department “to request and obtain information about their affiliations, funding sources, services staff, and clients.” Why this intrusion? Why this attempted harassment to take resources and direct them toward bureaucratic requests? Pregnancy centers are privately funded and provide services to women to meet their physical and emotional needs and positively impact the community. And, put another way, they are the alternative, they are the “choice”.

The attack on pro-life pregnancy centers is unwarranted, without merit, and another attempt to put them out of business. For those who claim to support “choice”………… prove it.
