Vidal Valentin, of Wallkill, entered into rest on Friday, August 13, 2021. He was 66.
A long time Town of Newburgh resident, Vidal was the son of Cosme and Pura (Feliciano) Valentin, born on March 14, 1955 in Bronx, NY.
“Chu Chu” as he was known by family and friends, was a chemical technician with Eastern Alloys, Maybrook.
Vidal is survived by a brother, Cosme Valentin, Jr. of FL; five sisters, Lucy Conklin of Newburgh, Raquel Davila of Puerto Rico, Miriam Davila of Wallkill and Crustia Vega, also of Wallkill, and Diana Valentin; many nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews; and one great great niece.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by one brother, Clement Valentin and two sisters, Margaret Valentin and Frances Rajcoomar.
Private cremation has taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory.
Plans for a Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
