School District to host vaccination clinic

The Newburgh Enlarged City School District is planning to host vaccine distributions in the coming weeks. The first will take place on Monday, September 20, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Newburgh Free Academy’s Main Campus (Lower Level), 201 Fullerton Avenue for students age 12 and older. The date for the second dose has not yet been determined.

Both the student being vaccinated and the accompanying parent/guardian need to bring appropriate identification (birth certificate, social security card, parent ID, passport, consulate ID, driver’s license, municipal ID, etc.) in order to receive the vaccine. Please bring insurance information with you if you have it. If you do not have insurance, that is okay, you will still be able to get the vaccination.

The Pfizer vaccination clinics have been made possible by several school nursing and teacher volunteers, as well as current and alumni members of the Certified Nursing Assistant Program.

Visit signupgenius.com/go/10c0c44ada72fa5fec34-necsd4 or the Newburgh Enlarged City School District website to sign up, and to obtain a parental consent form.
