Schmitt announces Salute to First Responder Nominees

Assemblyman Colin J. Schmitt (R,C,I, -New Windsor) is proud to announce the list of honorees for the 2nd Annual 99th Assembly District Salute to First Responders ceremony. “We owe our first responders an immeasurable debt of gratitude for their service and dedication to our communities. On September 14th we will recognize our next class of Salute to First Responder nominees from every corner of our district. These men and women have been willing to put everything on the line for us and their local communities have nominated them to be honored in our Assembly ceremony this year.

All members of the community are invited to join me to recognize and honor our Salute to First Responder nominees.”

Local leaders from each municipality in the 99th Assembly District were asked to nominate one First Responder that has impacted their community through perseverance, courage, dedication to service, and exemplary achievement — members of the community deserving of official recognition. The honoree from the Town of New Windsor is Steve Bedetti.

The honorees will be formally recognized and honored by Assemblyman Schmitt at his Salute to First Responders ceremony, which will be held on Tuesday, September 14, at the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center, 1351 Kings Highway, Sugar Loaf, at 6:30 p.m.
