Patricia L. Sparrow, of the Town of Newburgh, entered into rest on Thursday, August 26, 2021. She was 65.
Patricia was the daughter of Jean (Millar) Edge and the late Charles Edge, born on August 12, 1956 in Newburgh.
She was graduate of Mt. St. Mary College. In her younger years, “Patty” as she was known by family and friends was a social worker in Beacon, NY.
She is survived by her mother Jean Edge of the Town of Newburgh; three sons, Ian Sparrow, and Nicholas (DeAnna) Sparrow, both of the Town of Newburgh, and Robert C. Dickinson of Maybrook, NY; the father of her children, Richard A. Dickinson of Rock Tavern; two sisters, Carol Lynn of the Town of Newburgh and Jeannie Meadows of Hampton, VA; one grandson, Tyler Sparrow and many nieces and nephews.
Private cremation has taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory.
Memorial Visitation will take place from 4 to 6pm, Thursday, September 9, 2021 at White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 N. Plank Road, Newburgh.
A Funeral Service will be held following Visitation at 6 pm, at the Funeral Home, officiated by Deacon Thomas Neppl.
A Celebration of Patty’s Life will be hosted by the family at a later date.
