A photo from a Christmas party at the Newburgh Enlarged City School District’s administrative offices has surfaced and is now under investigation. The image appears to show district administrators cheering as a woman, dressed in negligee, emerges from a makeshift gift box.

The party reportedly took place during school hours and under the leadership of Superintendent Dr. Jackielyn Manning Campbell, who is currently suspended. The board of education president and district officials did not respond to requests for comment before publication.

The next board of education meeting is scheduled for March 25 at 6:30 p.m.
