Cronomer Valley and Middlehope Firefighters responded to a head-on collision on Route 9W and intersection of Chestnut Lane on September 5. Town of Newburgh Police and EMS were at the scene. Three subjects were transported to Montefiore St Luke’s Cornwall Hospital by Town of Newburgh EMS. Firefighters spread speedy dry on fluids on the road. Middlehope Fire Police and Cronomer Valley Fire Police directed traffic during the incident. New York State Police assisted at the scene. Town Police are investigating the cause.
