The Town of Newburgh Planning Board will host Fabulous Events Inc at their town consultation meeting on May 23 to review the town’s Tree Preservation Ordinance and other portions of their application. Engineering firm Lanc & Tully PC are overseeing the proposed 56,000 square foot facility proposed on Crab Apple Court along Route 32.

Fabulous Events, Inc, an entertainment service and rental company first founded in 1975 is a third generation family owned business based out of Nyack in Rockland County. The entertainment rental business provides staging, flooring, tables and other event furniture for events. Various dishware and linens for all kinds of events and functions such as weddings, graduations and other special events are also available for rental.

Comments from MHE Engineering listed that a lot Consolidation Plan would need to be filed with the county, the driveway access would be reviewed, a Stormwater Prevention Plan was awaiting submission, Town of Newburgh Water and Sewer notes were required on the plans and underground stormwater treatment will need to be reviewed by the town. Initial renderings of a brown industrial styled building were presented to the planning board for their review which several board members commented that the applicant should take into consideration brighter colors for the building.
