It is frustrating to be a taxpayer in the Newburgh District. This is the third Superintendent who left with a payout (Laval Wilson, Dr. Johns and Padilla). How much money has been wasted?

If Padilla was innocent, why didn’t he return to work? If he was guilty he should have been fired with cause. Either way, no payout. These are examples of lack of accountability for people in power. A few of our country’s scandals in the last few years; Andrew Cuomo, the Clintons, Hunter Biden and the big guy ( President Biden). Locally, the IDA with Edward Diana. All with no accountability. Is this what we teach our children? Where is the unbiased free press? Where are the attorney generals? Even the FBI (Peter Strzok) and IRS (Lois Lerner - IRS Commissioner) have been embroiled in scandalous behaviors. Our country needs change. We must reinstall law and order and eliminate divisiveness. Everyone must be held to the same judicial standards. If not, I hate to think what our country will be like in the future.
