Greetings from River City. Very special happy birthday greetings to our darling Gabrielle who celebrates her candles and cake day on the first full day of Spring. You have been a breath of Spring from the first day you were born, and your sweet sparkle has never diminished. May God bless, guide and protect you, always and forever. Happy Birthday, Darling Babby.         
 
Mount Saint Mary College will present “Alternative Approaches to Physical and Mental Health” on Wednesday, March 29 at 7 p.m.on campus. The event, sponsored by the college’s Center on Aging and Disability Policy (CADP) and Center for Adolescent Research and Development (CARD), will take place in the Fluet Family Auditorium in Hudson Hall.

Special happy birthday greetings to Regina Angelo who celebrates her 90th on March 25.  God bless you, granting you a happy and healthier year ahead. You have our prayers and well wishes, dearest Regina.

Sharing March 25 happy birthday greetings, Peter Haight celebrates his 83rd. May God bless you with a lovely day and grant  you a happy and healthy year ahead, dear Peter.
 
Registration is now open: Dust off your running shoes! Safe Harbors of the Hudson is excited to announce that after 2 years of virtual running, they are now back LIVE for their Off-Broadway 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, May 21.

This family-friendly event will start at Safe Harbors of the Hudson, 111 Broadway, and will feature a scenic course through the historic City of Newburgh. All proceeds from the event will go to support the services provided by Safe Harbors of the Hudson and its mission of transforming lives and building community through housing and the arts.

Participants can register for the event online at www.safe-harbors.org. Registration includes a t-shirt for the first 200 registrants. The time-chipped event will also feature a post-race celebration with food, music, raffles, and more!

The event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Registration is now open; the early entry fee, available through Thursday, May 18 is $30 for adults and $40 on the event day. Registration for students in grades K-8 is free, $15 for students in grades 9-12.

Sacred Heart is looking for ushers to help at all three Masses on the weekend: Saturday at 5:30 p.m.; Sunday at 10 a.m. and 12 Noon. If you are interested, please contact Rob Ruchdeschel at (845) 562-7858.
 
The St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta St. Vincent de Paul Society operates the Baby Outreach Center every Tuesday morning at the Valastro Activity Center, across from the Sacred Heart School.

The hours are 9 a.m. - 12 Noon. At this time, they are in need of diapers sizes 5 and 6, baby wipes and boys and girls clothing sizes 2T to 5T. Each month, they serve over 100 families. “Thanks to everyone from all the parishes who have donated to help continue our mission. Donations are always appreciated. Checks can be made payable to “Society of St. Vincent de Paul” and dropped off at the rectory. We allow for online donations via PayPal via our website stmotherteresanewburgh.com/svdp-donate.”
 
The Adult Faith Formation will host a Coffee and Bagel Hour on March 26 at Sacred Heart after the 10 a.m. and 12 Noon Masses and April 16 at St. Francis after the 8:30 a.m. Mass. All are welcome!
 
The Sacred Heart Palm Weavers will be meeting in the Chapel until March 31, from 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. All are welcome.  They will teach newcomers. Come when you can and leave when you have to. For information, call Aggie at (845) 562-9170.

The Saint Francis Palm Weavers will be meeting in O’Connor Hall.  There will be 2 sessions, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.  - 2 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. All are welcome, and come and help even if you can’t weave. Come when you can and leave when you have to.
