The Apple Time Fair was back and better than ever

The Cornwall Presbyterian Church held its annual Apple Time Fair on Saturday.
The highlight of the day was the 218 homemade pies which were made. Those who purchased could choose from four varieties: apple crumb, apple blueberry crumb, apple walnut, or a traditional apple pie. If pie was not to one’s liking, other baked goods like cookies, cupcakes, and brownies were available.

Outside the church, volunteers served cider, soup, and donuts. Those who couldn’t wait to enjoy the sweets at home could pour a cup of coffee and enjoy a treat at the makeshift cafe. Shoppers seeking a head start on holiday purchases could buy quilted or crocheted items, paintings, jewelry, glassware, toys, puzzles, knick knacks, and more.
