Help shape the future of Highland Falls

As most know, the Village of Highland Falls was awarded $4.5 million through New York State’s NY Forward program last winter. The purpose of the grant is to create a more walkable, resilient, and economically robust downtown area.

Community members are invited to actively participate in shaping the future of the downtown area by providing input on the list of preliminary projects at Public Workshop 2. Community feedback will help the Local Planning Committee determine which projects will be recommended for NY Forward funding.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 5-7 p.m. at the Highland Falls Public Library, 298 Main Street. Community members are welcome to stop by anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. to review the projects.

Those unable to attend the first public workshop, are encouraged to share their feedback on an online survey accessed at highlandfallsnyf.com. The survey will open to the public on Wednesday, October 3 and close on Wednesday, October 9.
