“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” (high school edition) takes place at Cornwall Central High School (10 Dragon Drive, New Windsor) at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, Friday, Nov. 8 and Saturday, Nov. 9; and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10. 19 years after Harry, Ron, and Hermione saved the wizarding world, they’re back on a most extraordinary new adventure – this time, joined by a brave new generation that has only just arrived at the legendary Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. When Harry Potter’s head-strong son, Albus, befriends the son of his fiercest rival, Draco Malfoy, it sparks an unbelievable new journey for them all — with the power to change the past and future forever.
Harry Potter is played by Jacob Carter with James Lahtinen plays his son Albus, and Lucas Perez plays Draco Malfoy with Spencer Olsen as Scorpius Malfoy, on whom the story is based. There’s a large cast of actors, as well as dozens of students and adults who transition the show from scene to scene, provided technical support, create special effects and more. The show is directed by Anthony Ravinsky.
