At least once a year the Friends of the Cornwall Public Library hold a big book sale … and last Saturday was the day! Friends of the Library members set up sale tables inside and out of the library and offered the bargain price of $8 a bag for both children’s and adult books, in addition to some puzzles, games and greeting cards. They also had, for their patrons, apple cider and apple cider donuts from Jones Farm, always a popular refreshment!

If you missed the sale, the prices won’t be quite as low, but you can stop by the Friends’ ‘store’ inside the library Monday through Saturday (find the hours on the website). If you have books to donate, you can also do so during store hours – there are restrictions abou what they can and cannot take, so, again, visit cornwallpubliclibrary.org. And, please, don’t leave donations in the hallway or outside the library!
