Adults: Enjoy Nature on Ice

Posted

On Sunday, February 2 from 5 - 7 p.m., join the Hudson Highlands Nature Center for Nature on Ice, a winter celebration in honor of their education staff to benefit the Nature Center’s Educational Programs & Animal Ambassadors.

This special gathering will take place at the Outdoor Discovery Campus location, 120 Muser Drive in Cornwall and features an ice throne, an ice bar with accompanying ice glasses, ice carvings of woodland creatures, and a live carving demonstration by local artist Bill Bywater! Enjoy beer, wine and warm beverages from the open bar, as well as passed hors d’oeuvres. Stay warm by the fire pits and heaters on this wonderful wintery evening.

This adults-only event will be held entirely outdoors. Please dress accordingly.

HHNC’s Executive Director Jessica Oliveri invites all to “join us in a wonderland of ice carvings and lights to lift a glass made of ice and toast to supporting nature education and play, and wildlife at the Nature Center”.

Tickets begin at $75; purchase by January 29. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit hhnaturecenter.org/natureonice or call Robert Lipkinat 845-534-5506 ext 219.
