PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Planning Board of the Town of Newburgh, Orange County, New York will hold a Public Hearing pursuant to Section 274A of the NYS Town Law on the application of:

Monarch Drive Senior Housing (201928) The project proposes the construction of 100 Senior Housing apartments in two structures. The project site is located on the southeast quadrant of the Route 52 Monarch Drive intersection. The project will be served by connections to the existing water and sewer within existing right-of-ways. The units will be a mix of one and two bedroom units. The project will include a clubhouse, pool, parking areas and stormwater management facilities. Access to the site will be a boulevard type entrance from Monarch Drive. An emergency access road is proposed off of NYS Route 52. The Planning Board is reviewing the project under Town Code Section 18548 Senior Citizen Housing. The project is located in the Town's B Zoning District. The project site is known on the Town Tax Maps as Section 103 Block 7 Lot 18 and Section 47 Block 1 Lot 46.

A Public Hearing will be held on the 7th day of July 2022 at the Town Hall Meeting Room, 1496 Route 300, Newburgh, New York at 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as can be heard, at which time all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.
