Wallkill Library presents a soup cook-off
A Soup-er Bowl Cook-off will be held at the Wallkill Public Library on Monday, Jan. 20, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Town Hall Community Room.
Do you have a recipe for the most delicious soup? Here’s your chance to prove it! Contestants may enter individually, or get the whole family involved and enter as a team.
You’re not much of a chef? Then come out and sample the entries, then vote for your favorite.
Visit website wallkillpubliclibrary.org and register as a cook or as a taster.

For more information or a list of contest rules, contact Tara Laiosa at tlaiosa@rcls.org.

Wallkill Library presents Inspire Your Heart Day
Inspire Your Heart with Art Day on Jan. 31 at the Wallkill Library. Always observed on January 31, Art Day is a day to ponder how art affects your heart. Of the broad spectrum of art created in the world, the pieces that move us to tears or cause us to burst out into joyous laughter remain with us for a lifetime. It sounds straightforward enough...go to a gallery, theater, cinema, music venue, or the Library and soak up and create art around you!
There will be a variety of projects for all ages.
To register, call Christine Adams at (845) 3707: cadams@rcls.org.
