Village of Montgomery and neighboring town residents, it’s that happy time of the season where the U.S. Marine Touts for Tots Train is on the run.

It will be stopping in the Village of Montgomery on Sunday, December 1, between the hours of 2:55 p.m. and 3:40 p.m. at the old lumberyard on Railroad Avenue. This is a really cool way to start off the holiday season, and a way to teach our children the meaning of giving.

Please come out to this fantastic event, and if you can, bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to a needy child. See Santa Claus and have your picture taken with him and his elves.

This is a friendly competition between villages along the train route to see who can bring in the most toys, and the end result is we all win!
