Thomas D. Jantzen, of Woodbourne,  formerly of Newburgh, entered into rest suddenly on Sunday, August 30, 2020. He was 56.

Son of Mary (Smith) Weidkam and the late Thomas Jantzen, he was born on November 14, 1963 in Newburgh, NY.

He was a retired Carpenter with Carpenter’s Local #279, Rock Tavern. After his retirement he worked as a school bus driver for Rolling V. Bus Corp., a job he most enjoyed.

Survivors include his mother, Mary (Katie) and step father Raymond (Pete) Weidkam of the Town of Newburgh; two sisters, Mary (Bruce) Lake of Walden and Debra (Mike) VanSchaick of Clifton Park; step brother, Robert (Marjorie) Weidkam of the Town of Newburgh; aunt, Veronica Jantzen of Newburgh;  two nieces, Ashley LaBar of Walden and Amy (Vincent) Lake of Wappingers Falls; and one nephew, Joshua Machorro of Nassau County, NY

Private Cremation has taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory.

Arrangements are under the care of White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 N. Plank Road, Newburgh.
