Thanks  to Duffy’s for dropping by the Walden Animal shelter recently with ice cream for the dogs. Those pups really enjoyed the treats. Duffy’s is a great friend to the shelter and a must-visit restaurant located at 94 Clinton Street in Montgomery.
Help homeless animals and show off your pet in the Humane Society of Walden’s 2021 calendar. For a $25.00 donation, your pet’s photo will be included in our 8.5” x 11” calendar and you’ll receive a free copy of the calendar. By participating you provide hope, help, and homes to shelter animals.
Email your submission to vc@waldenhumane.org. Please submit your $25 donation to waldenhumane.org/calendar. See their pets up for adoption also at Middletown PetSmart Adoption Center.

Now a feel-good start up story. Coming soon, Moonshine Golf. The  partners  grew up together in Montgomery; met at Montgomery Elementary in 4th grade and  graduated from VC in 2001.  They are super excited to share their story with you all.
They  have moved to different parts of the country (Justin Fowler- Denver CO, Rick Boccard- San Jose CA, Andrew Mikowski- Lewisburg PA) but will never forget where they came from and still have many friends and family in the area. Now they have reunited to collaborate on this new venture.

Moonshine Golf is a golf apparel and accessory brand catering to those smaller town golf fans who are proud to be a little bit country. Their shared upbringing in the Hudson Valley is a huge part of the brand direction.
This startup  was founded during the pandemic and influenced by their Montgomery roots.. Best of luck to you all.
