The Gardiner Library is now offering free homework help for 4th through 8th grades in social studies, English and science. Eileen Stewart is a retired teacher who taught for 34 years in the Wallkill Central School District.

Eileen taught English for 18 years and 7th grade social studies for 13 years. Eileen served as the K-12 social studies coordinator as well as the coordinator of the new teacher/ mentor program for the WCSD. Eileen has conducted teacher workshops on reading and writing in the content areas and has worked with students to improve their test taking skills. Eileen has also been active in the Wallkill School district since retirement.
