A nation in turmoil

This shelter in place life has had one benefit. I unplugged from a lot of the news. Unfortunately, one can only hide for so long, unless you’re Trump and have a whole bunker just for that purpose. We have a nation in turmoil. From the mishandling of Covid 19, the protesters of the BLM, to the tariff wars, North Korea, Russia, China it is all overwhelming. His fans think Trump is doing great things. It’s glaringly inaccurate, but if you don’t educate yourself, it’s okay.

Mexico will pay for the wall. Nope, but he is trying to get the military to pay for this. Yay, vets for Trump. Healthcare. Turns out healthcare is hard. Who knew? Literally everyone. Ask the farmers in the mid-west how the tariff wars are going for them. China is not paying for the tariffs. America sleep easy, he fixed North Korea. I can’t, I just can’t do this one. Russia. This “Rusher” thing cannot be addressed in a few short words, although both Putin and North Korea are ecstatic to have the village idiot in the White House. Drain the swamp. Oh, please, don’t even go there. Tax returns? Nope. Not even the ones that aren’t being audited. He CAN release his returns. The I.R.S. is not holding them hostage. Covid19. So, it’s only 15 cases and it’s going to be gone very quickly, like a miracle. What? You mean there are still people dying? Hospitals still don’t have PPE? Don’t worry Mike and Jared took care of this. (By the way boys, THAT’S how you do sarcasm). His big beautiful tax rewrite? His wealthy donors and corporations are thrilled. He is not draining the swamp. There is no room for a swamp because he has filled it with so many inept, self-serving people. He knows, “all the best people”, but he’s obviously chosen not to hire them. When he brings people into his administration, they are great and wonderful and the best, until they aren’t. He’s a very stable genius. Really, he said so himself.
