PB wrestlers post 3 wins at Mahopac
The Pine Bush Bushmen had three third-place finishes at the Mahopac wrestling tournament on Saturday.
Rich Urena (131), Logan Pennell (152) and Ethan Conrow (170) all picked up third-place finishes for the Bushmen.
Greg Florin (285) was fourth and Pattrick Curren (285) finished fifth.

Panther girls top Johnson City

Zoe Mesuch scored a game-high 22 points, leading the Wallkill Panthers to a 60-48 win over Johnson City in a non-league girls’ basketball game on Saturday at Wallkill High School.
Alex Dembinsky added 10 points for the Panthers.
Marisa Smith led Johnson City with 20 points and Avrie Nannery added 12.

Lady Dukes top Saugerties
Lilly Sullivan and Gabby Murphy each scored 14 points, leading the Marlboro Dukes to a 46-30 win over Saugerties in a Mid Hudson Athletic League girls’ basketball game on Friday at Marlboro High School.

Hannah Polumbo had 18 rebounds.

DeNatale, Brooks lead Dukes past Sawyers
Christopher DeNatale scored a game-high 18 points, hitting 4 3-pointers, as the Marlboro Iron Dukes beat Saugerties, 41-36, on Friday in a Mid Hudson Athletic League boys’ basketball game at Saugerties High school.
Miles Brooks scored 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Dukes. Ny’eem Douglas grabbed 12 rebounds.
McCoy Roth led the Sawyers with 15 points.

VC girls roll over Monticello
Giselle Johnson scored a game-high 11 points in the Valley Central Vikings’ 57-21 win over the Monticello Panthers on Jan. 22 in an Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association girls’ basketball game at Monticello High School.
Kelley Schmidt and Breonna Curtis Wright scored 10 points each for the Vikings (7-6, 6-1 OCIAA-II).
Morgan Huchins scored 10 points for Monticello (4-9, 1-6 OCIAA-II).
