Maybrook’s Scout Troop 236 Band is famous for its marches and performances at Disney World in Orlando, FL, and the troop always traveled there and back by bus. Recently, however, they enjoyed an actual carefree eight-day vacation at the resort and traveled down and back by plane! The Scouts just returned last week and, reports Scoutmaster William Giannico and Scoutmaster Emeritus James Barnett, had an amazing time, visiting the Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Universal Studios and the Magic Kingdom. “After all the parades we’ve done,” Barnett said, “it was nice to have a vacation there. We all had a wonderful time and just want to thank the wonderful support we’ve always had from our community.”
