Assemblyman Colin J. Schmitt (R,C,I-New Windsor) along with his colleague Assemblyman Dan Stec (R,C,I-Queensbury) have once again placed a friendly wager on the historic Army-Navy football game that will take place on Saturday, December 14.

Schmitt is an active member of the Army National Guard who also represents West Point in the state Assembly and he has put his wager behind the Black Knights.Stec, a Navy veteran who represents Whitehall, the birthplace of the U. S. Navy, is a fan of the Midshipmen and has placed his faith in them winning.

Stec has wagered that if Navy were to lose on Saturday, he would present Schmitt with food and beverage staples of the 114 th Assembly district, including wine from the Adirondack Winery in Lake George. He has also pledged to wear an Army Hat.

If Army were to lose, Schmitt has promised to wear a Navy hat and present Stec with apple cider donuts from Jones Farm in Cornwall, Pie from Soons Orchard in Wawayanda, a Growler from Rushing Duck Brewery in Chester, coffee from Noble Coffee Roasters in Hamptonburgh and a bottle of I LOVE NY wine from Brotherhood Winery, all of which are staples of the 99th Assembly District.
