Nicholas T. Anzalone II, 62 of New Windsor, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 11, 2021 at St. Lukes Hospital, Newburgh.
The son of the late Michael & Wilma (Hunter) Anzalone, Nicholas was a former resident of Newburgh, NY and a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy Class of 1976.
Nicholas was troubled with serious medical conditions for most of his adulthood but that did not damper his love of life. His family knew him as kind and mild mannered, with a penchant for loud music and fast cars.
Nicholas leaves behind his loving sons, Cory (Tina) Anzalone; Nicholas (Danielle) Anzalone and Gregory Anzalone; brother, Michael (Tracey) Anzalone; sister Anna (Gary) Steinhauer; grandchildren Alyssa, Lola, Maya, Jason and Anthony; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Nicholas was predeceased by his former wife, Kathleen; son Jamie; brother John; sister, Jill Moglia and granddaughter Gigi.
The family has entrusted Hudson Valley Funeral Home, 239 Quassaick Ave, New Windsor, NY 12553 with the care and cremation arrangements for Nicholas.
Due to the pandemic, a memorial to celebrate the life of Nicholas will be announced at a later date.
