Newburgh Free Academy’s Marina Parodo was named to the all-state fourth team by the New York State Sportswriters and Coaches Organization for Girls Sports.
Parodo, who led the Goldbacks in scoring, led the team to an 8-8-1 record and a second-place finish in the Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association Division I.
Their season ended in a 2-0 loss on October 21 to the Warwick Wildcats in the Section 9 Class AA semifinals.
