The Newburgh Free Academy boys’ invitational set three records at the Marine Corps. Invitational on December 29, 2023, at the Nike Track and Field Center at the Armory in New York City.

Devon Pinto set a new school freshman record when he won the freshman 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.43 seconds. Brady Danyluk set a new school record while running the fourth-fastest time in the state during the 800-meter run. He finished with a time of 1:55.35.

The 800-meter relay team of David Pinnock, Anthony Burnett, Nakei Johnson and Jun Rivas set a new personal best with a time of 1:30.79, the third fastest time in the state. Rivas ran in the finals, while Anthony Barrett ran in the semifinals.

The freshman/sophomore 1,600-meter relay team of Jeron Underwood, DeJuan Mckenzie, Kendy Georges and Devon Pinto set a meet record.
