Dylan Hannigan rolled high games of 213 and 201 and a series of 607 as the Newburgh Free Academy boys’ bowling team defeated FDR, 5-0, on Thursday at Pat Tarsio Lanes in Newburgh.

Andre Alexander rolled a 209 and had a three-game series of 571. Hannigan and Alexander were the only two Goldbacks to bowl in all three games. Jordan Dewitt rolled a high game of 208 and Kevin Novella had Newburgh’s best individual game with a 288.

Stephen Barnes rolled a 236 in the third game and Daniel Decker rolled a 203.

The Goldbacks won the total pin count, 3,068-1,698.

Sherlon Junor led the Presidents with a 146 high game and a 412 series.

Katie Bell had a 180 high game and rolled a pair of 147s to finish with a 474 series to lead the girls’ team to a 5-0 victory over the Presidents. Gianna Alisandrella also finished with a 147 high game. Tatum Connolly rolled a 142 high game, and Janelle Terry had a 141 high game.

Alisandrella finished with a three-game series of 393 and Sarina Delgado had a three-game score of 368. Connolly was the only other Goldback to compete in all three games and finished with a combined 351.

Newburgh won the total pin count 1,914-1,626.

Morgan Hannon rolled a 151 high game to lead the Presidents.
