The Town of Newburgh Planning Board discussed the addition of Kolb Radiology, a New York City-based radiology practice in the Hudson Valley Professional Plaza off Gidney Avenue, and the transfer of a plot of land from one residence in Walkill to another, during its meeting on Thursday August 15.

Both projects were proposed with no objection.
Kolb Radiology proposed to convert an existing four-bay garage area into an MRI suite along with a new 105 square foot entry that will allow access to the new facility and existing offices in the plaza.

Kenyon Nott, a resident of Walkill, sought to purchase two acres of the recently deceased former restauranteur Reziero Vittolo’s property. Vittolo died in January of natural causes and was the retired owner of Vesuvio’s Ristorante in Newburgh. Both of Vittolo’s daughters approved of the purchase.

The next planning board meeting will be held on Thursday, September 5 at 7 p.m. in the Town of Newburgh town hall.
