On Friday, March 22, 2024, Judy Tersillo (Giuditta Miccoli) (96) gracefully passed, finding eternal peace in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the warmth of her loved ones. Judy was born in Italy in January 9, 1928 and came to America as a young war bride. She was naturalized in the 1950’s and proudly was granted her citizenship.  Judy was proud to be an American. She was a loving wife and mother of seven, residing in Newburgh while also spending cherished moments as a part-time resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.

Judy now reunites with her beloved husband, Aldo F. Tersillo, her son Aldo Tersillo Jr., her daughter Phyllis Graziano, and her granddaughter Antonia Tersillo. Though her physical presence may be absent, her love and legacy endure, weaving through the lives of those she touched.

Left to honor her memory are her children Frank Tersillo (Paula), Tony Tersillo (Trina), Thomas Tersillo (Beth), Judith Bracken (David), and Maria Clements (Tony), who carry forward her essence through the values she instilled and the love she generously shared. Judy's spirit continues to shine through her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family, each one a testament to the depth of her love and the richness of her legacy.

All who knew Judy remember her love for cooking, spending time with her loved ones, tending her garden at her "Ponderosa," and walking along the beach to the Jettys. Her life was a tapestry woven with threads of love, kindness, and generosity. Her passion for cooking and spending hours in her gardens reflected her nurturing soul. Her greatest joy was found in the presence of her family and friends who became her family. In honoring Judy's life, let us celebrate the countless moments of laughter, the shared meals around the table, and her beautiful gardens all of which she tended to with love.
