Ulster County Comptroller Elliott Auerbach endorsed Pat Ryan for Ulster County Executive. Ryan is the first candidate to receive an endorsement from a countywide elected official.

“Pat Ryan will take us into the next decade with his forward-thinking leadership. He understands the importance of working through collaboration, consensus building, and compromise,” said Auerbach. “I look forward to working with him along with the 27 other elected officials who not only represent the county but also the interests of the taxpayers. I am thrilled to join labor, numerous Democratic Committees, and elected official who have all recognized what I have in Ryan’s leadership capabilities,” said Auerbach.

“The County Executive and Comptroller must work together to ensure that county government functions at the highest level,” said Ryan. “I know that I will have a true partner in Elliott Auerbach. He has a long record of service to our county, and I know him to be a person of great integrity. I look forward to working with Elliott to foster collaboration across county government.”

In addition, Ryan has received the endorsements of the Gardiner, Lloyd, New Paltz, Plattekill, and Shawangunk Democratic Committees, the Hudson Valley Area Labor Federation Upper Hudson Central Labor Council, and multiple town supervisors, mayors, elected officials and progressive activists.

Pat Ryan is a fifth generation Ulster County resident and a native of Kingston, NY.
