As the dust settles from the impeachment and trial of President Trump one thing is crystal clear, Paul Manafort and Hunter Biden both received money that was in some way stolen from the Ukrainian people. Paul Manafort received about $13 million and Hunter Biden received $50 thousand per month. However, Mr. Manafort didn’t pay taxes on his huge amount of Ukrainian income so he’s serving a 7 1/2 year prison sentence for income tax evasion while Mr. Biden did pay taxes on his income so he is a free man.

I sure hope President Trump’s taxes become a major talking point during the current campaign. If the President’s former campaign manager is in prison for a major tax fraud and the transfer of over $415 million to Mr. Trump from his father seems to have shortchanged the government out of around $50 million in inheritance tax according to the real press, a whole bunch of debate questions should focus on the release of Mr. Trump’s taxes. If President Trump has not illegally avoided paying income tax by overvaluing his properties and exaggerating their depreciation he should have no problem showing the nation he is an honest taxpayer. President Nixon was right about one thing, the American people should know if their president is a crook.
