Plattekill will host an Electronic Drop Off Day
The Town of Plattekill will host an Electronic Drop Off Day on Saturday, April 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Town Hall, located at Route 44-55 in Modena.
Residents are encouraged to bring their waste electronics, including TVs, computers, printers, phones, cables, and games, to be recycled through the Town of Plattekill Transfer Station. There is no charge for this service, but a suggested donation of $15 towards the Southern Ulster Rotary for community projects is appreciated.
Donations can be made payable to Southern Ulster Rotary (PO Box 839, Plattekill, 12568) and can be made by check or Venmo (please include notation “Electronics Disposal”).

Plattekill Golden Seniors announce upcoming trips
The Plattekill Golden Seniors have kicked off the new year.
The Club is Planning four trips during the coming year. In May they will travel to Villa Roma to have lunch a see the Jersey Tenors in Callicoon NY.
In July they will travel to Riverview In in Matamoras PA to have lunch and see Jo Jo Russell.
In September they travel back to Riverview Inn in Matamoras, PA for lunch and to see the “Elvis Show.”
Then they will finish up In October traveling to Silver Birches Special Germanfest in Hawley PA for brunch and a show.
The Plattekill Golden Seniors meet at The Plattekill Library 2047 RT 32, Modena twice a month.
The first Thursday of the Month at 1 p.m. for a business meeting followed by a birthday cake and Bingo. On the third Thursday of the month they meet at 12 p.m. for lunch, fellowship and bingo.
