Dennis Pesavento, a resident of Poughkeepsie, passed away on September 19, 2023 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center at the age of 68.
Dennis was born at Vassar Brothers on February 2, 1955, the son of Rose and Joseph D. Pesavento.
Dennis was retired from the Laborer's International Union of North America Local No. 17. He was a member of the Poughkeepsie Elks and Italian Center.
He is survived by his daughter Ella Loucks and her husband Damian Loucks; his grandchild Hallie Loucks; his sister Marilyn Pesavento Cappillino and partner Frank Fisher; Nephews Tyler Cappillio and wife Erica Cappillino, Joseph Pesavento III and wife Nadia Seegobin; Nieces Kassia Connors and husband Michael Connors, Julia Pesavento, and Joselyn Pesavento; and many great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother Joseph Pesavento Jr.
Dennis was the type of man who would do anything to support his friends and family when they needed him. His greatest joys in life were his daughter and granddaughter. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his friends at the local pub and will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. Monday, September 25th at DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Rte 9W, Marlboro, NY 12542.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m on Tuesday, September 26th at St. Mary's RC Church in Marlboro, followed by an Entombment at Cedar Hill Mausoleum in Newburgh.
