Danskammer Energy, LLC presented the Town of Marlborough with a donation check for $20,000 at its Monday June 10 Town Board Meeting to assist the community with beautification projects.

Vice President of Public Affairs for Danskammer, Michelle Hook, was in attendance at the Board Meeting and was pleased to present the check to Marlborough Supervisor Al Lanzetta and the Town Board.

“Danskammer is committed to being a good neighbor and wants the Town to know we intend to remain a valued contributor to the community we have called home for many years. We hope this money will help to make Marlborough an even more wonderful place for its residents to live and work,” said Danskammer Energy Vice President of Public Affairs Michelle Hook.

“The Town of Marlborough is appreciative of the donation from Danskammer Energy to benefit the community. It will be used for recreational purposes to improve the quality of life for our citizens,” said Town of Marlborough Supervisor Al Lanzetta.

Danskammer Energy, LLC is currently in the process of seeking permits to repower and modernize its decades-old energy plant in an effort to use the most environmentally advanced technology available to provide energy to more than 500,000 homes and bring clean, reliable, affordable energy to nearby homes, schools, and businesses.
