Shannon Corcoran, daughter of Thomas and Coleen Corcoran of Milton, has earned a place on the School of Education Dean’s List for the spring 2019 semester, at State University of New York College at Cortland. She earned a grade point average of 3.30 and above. Her major is Education birth-6th Grade.
She has been placed on the Dean’s List throughout her entire college career and she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Jake Gregory Armstrong, a member of the Highland High School Class of 2013 graduated in May from Pace University with a Masters of Arts in Homeland Security and Public Safety. He completed a thesis for publication on school shootings.

Salvatore Paporto of Marlboro has been named to the Adelphi University spring 2019 Dean’s List.
Paporto was among a select group of outstanding students named to the spring 2019 Dean’s List. The Dean’s List comprises full-time students-registered for 12 or more credits-who have completed at least 9 graded credits and achieved a GPA of 3.5 or above for the semester
Dr. Kristine Young, president of SUNY Orange, has announced that the College awarded a total of 526 associate’s degrees and academic certificates to 481 students who completed their courses of study during the recently concluded Spring semester.
