The First Presbyterian Church is hosting a pancake breakfast on Sunday, Feb. 28, 8 – 10:30 a.m. This is a fundraiser for Kirky’s Deli and pizza which, as we all know, was severely damaged by a car accident. All donations from this fund raiser goes to help Kirky get back to business! Any questions? you can contact Paul Quinby at 795-0027.

Marlboro Central School District Spring Schedule for Adult Education
There is something for everyone! Please Pre- Register as early as possible. Courses may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. All courses for Senior Citizens (65+) no more than $25.

Co-Ed Volleyball: Tuesdays Feb 5-April 30 at Marlboro Elementary School, 7-9 p.m., $70.

Yoga For Everybody: This class will guide you through body opening poses, loosening tension and relieving stress while strengthening. Beginners to advanced students welcome! This class will be moving at a slower pace and holding stretches longer to develop an awareness of self. Leave relaxed, content and ready to take on life! Please bring a Yoga Mat. It takes place Mondays March 11- May 13 or Wednesdays March 13-May 8, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Marlboro Intermediate Cafeteria 3-5. Cost is $35.

Introduction To American Sign Language: Students will learn fingerspelling, numbers, terminology, Deaf culture and history, basic vocabulary, and grammar. Students will also discuss tends in animal and baby sign language. Emphasis is placed on receptive and expressive aligning skills. An exposure to the deaf community will be presented and students will be given opportunities to participate in the community. Classes will take place Wednesdays, March 6- May 1 at Marlboro High School, Room 10, 6-7 p.m. Cost is $40.

Pediatric CPR: Wednesday, May 22, Marlboro High School room 10, 6-9 p.m You’ll learn techniques for handling a life-threatening emergency if a child is choking, moving or breathing because of a fall or near drowning. A great class for parents, grandparents or caregivers! $20.

Knitting And Crocheting: Tuesdays, March 12- May 21, Marlboro High School Media Center, 7-9 p.m. Whatever your skill level, you will love this class! Bring knitting and/or crocheting needles and your yarn. $60.

Evening Under The Stars: Thursday, April 11, Marlboro High School Planetarium, 7-8 p.m.

Spend an evening under the stars at Marlboro High Schools planetarium. Explore the night sky, the planets and deep space. Weather permitting, a viewing of the waxing crescent moon and the planet Mars will take place in the rooftop observatory! $5.

The DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) Camera. Thursdays, May 2- May 23 Marlboro High School Media Center Lab 6-7:30 p.m. You’ve spent the money, now let’s get your money’s worth! Learn the features and tools available on the DSLR and get away from the green “auto” setting. You will be using your camera like a pro! $30.

Windows 10 Computer Class. Wednesdays, May 1-May 15, Marlboro High School Media Center Lab 6-7:30 p.m. This course will make all your concerns vanish understanding your windows 10 operating system on your laptop and/or computer. Simple explanations about how to use you within the Windows 10 environment. You do not need to be technological savvy to understand this course. $25.

Navigating The IPad. Mondays, May 6 -May 20, Marlboro High School Media Center Lab, .6-7:30 p.m. At the conclusion of this course you will understand iPad Hardware and all of its settings and connect with the outside world via internet, social media, etc. Learn how to sync with iTunes, “cloud” shortcuts, etc. $25.
