Breakfast a fundraiser to rebuild Kirky’s Deli

The First Presbyterian Church will host a pancake breakfast, with sausage and eggs on Sunday, Feb. 24, 8 – 10:30 a.m.

As we all know Kirky’s Deli & Pizza recently was severely damaged by a car accident, all donations from this fund raiser goes to help Kirky get back to business! (Note: the date was incorrect in last week’s paper, it will actually occur on the 24th.)

Movies that Matter
Join host Timothy Lawton at the Sarah Hull Hallock Free Library for Movies that Matter. On Friday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m., the library will screen Won’t You Be My Neighbor, the heartwarming story of Mister Rodgers.

All are welcome to join the Book Club! On Wednesday, February 27, After Anna by Lisa Scottoline will be discussed. Copies have been ordered and will be available at the circulation desk for check-out for those who may wish to join us in the Library community room at 7 p.m.


Reminder of the upcoming Pre-Oscar Party on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 1 p.m.

Need a recap of all the nominees? Come get fully prepped at our pre-Oscar party! Walk the red carpet (designer garb optional!), have your photo taken, talk movies and watch the trailers for nominated films. Cast your votes for the Oscar winners, the one with the most correct guesses will receive a gift card for a local movie theater!

Light Oscar-themed snacks will be served. Adults RSVP online, walk-ins welcome! Children allowed only with parental guidance and discretion due to movie trailer content

March 27: Joe Zita and Friends, Comedian, 50-60’s music, at The Jersey Breakers. Big Dance Floor, Family Style Luncheon, $52.

May 30: 2.5 hr. Circle Line Cruise. A lunch at Forlini’s Restaurant & One-hour shopping in Little Italy, $91.

June 26: “On Your Feet” Musical at Westchester Broadway Theatre, Lunch Included, $57.

July 25: A tribute to Neil Diamond “Coming to America, ”Royal Manor, Garfield, NJ, two Complimentary Drinks Family Style Lunch, $54.
August 13: Sing, Dance, and Romance with Rich Mitnick, Family Style Lunch, two Complimentary Drinks, Aqua-Turf Club, Plantsville, CT, $44.

September 5: Arrival at The Hawley Silk Mill for coffee & apple streusel, then depart for the Waterfront at Silver Birches for a Family Style Lunch and Open Bar with beer, wine and soda, $46.
October 8: Hawaiian Dancers and Comedian at High Point, Montague, NJ. Enjoy a buffet style breakfast upon arrival, later, a buffet style luncheon with a 4-hour open bar, $47.

December 5: A Christmas Show “It Happened One Christmas Eve” at the Westchester Broadway Theatre. Lunch Included. $60.

These trips are open to all residents of the Marlboro School District.
