Bobby (Zisimos) Katsaitis

Bobby (Zisimos) Katsaitis, 63, of Highland, passed away Sunday afternoon, February 10, surrounded by his family. Born September 22, 1955, in Kefalonia, Greece, he was the son of the late Angelos Katsaitis and Rene Katsaitis.

Bobby was a respected and well-known waiter at the Acropolis Diner for 13 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren as well as caring for his chickens, ducks and rabbits. He also loved gardening, cars and was an equestrian entrepreneur.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Christine Katsaitis; seven children: Theresia Katsaitis, Renee Richford, Angelos Katsaitis, Demetrios Katsaitis, Alex Katsaitis, Anastasia Meyer and Margarita Katsaitis; 12 grandchildren: Eric, Timothy, David, Delaney, Daniel, Halle, Emily, Brooklyn, Natalie, Stavros, Gabriel and Nikos; his beloved sisters: Sia, Anna, Voula and Dionisia, and beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, uncle and aunt, and his dog Hercules.

Services were held Feb 18 at Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, followed by the burial at Lloyd Cemetery, Highland. Serving as pallbearers were Angelos Katsaitis, Demetrios Katsaitis, Alex Katsaitis, Steven Meyer, Costa Floropoulos and Nikos Koundourakis.
