Barbecue fundraiser benefits Highland PTSA

The Highland High School (HHS) PTSA will once again be hosting a barbeque dinner fundraiser on Monday, April 15. The meals will be provided by Brooks’ House of BBQ.

Brooks’ House of BBQ is a well-known barbeque restaurant located in Oneonta, New York. The restaurant is known for its delicious chicken that is slow-cooked over the largest indoor charcoal pit east of Mississippi. The restaurant was established in 1961. This is the fifth time the restaurant has worked with the HHS PTSA on the fundraising event.

The dinner includes BBQ chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, dinner roll, and butter. Meals can be ordered in advance until April 10, for $20 each. These pre-ordered dinners can be purchased online at highland.memberhub.com. Cash or checks written out to the HHS PTSA will also be accepted, and can be turned in at the High School Main Office (paper order forms are available at www.highland-k12.org). Pre-ordering is highly recommended since there will only be a limited number of dinners available for walk-ups. Day-of purchases will be $25 each.

Dinners can be picked up from 3-6 p.m. at the Highland Fire District Station 2, which is located at 570 New Paltz Road in Highland.
