Good Will firefighters responded to smoke coming from a house at 41 Route 17K on May 2. Good Will Command requested a second alarm sounding for working structure fire. Responding to the scene was Winona Lake-Air Guard and Newburgh FD. Good Will had two lines stretched and Winona Lake FD supplied water, After the fire was seen coming from east side of the residence, Winona Lake and Good Will used their deck guns to put fire out. Firefighters eventually entered the building, smashed windows and extinguished hot spots. The fire is under investigation.
