Town of Newburgh Town Clerk Joseph P. Pedi is pleased to announce that effective immediately, Town residents can renew dog licenses online using their credit card, debit card, or an electronic check.

Please go to the Town of Newburgh website, townofnewburgh.org, and click on “Renew Dog Licenses Online” located at the upper left side, then follow the instructions.
In order to renew a dog license, the dog’s rabies’ vaccination must be current. If the rabies’ vaccination has expired, the current rabies’ vaccination must be forwarded to the Town Clerk’s Office for record updating. Online dog license renewal carries an additional $1.75 convenience charge.

Town Clerk Joseph Pedi hopes that this addition to the standard Town Clerk Office activities will be more convenient to Town residents. The Town of Newburgh’s Clerk’s Office is investing its time and energy to offer more services to residents and increase the convenience of doing business locally.

Please be aware that credit card payments are now accepted and the Town Clerk’s office hours have been extended to 6 p.m. every Thursday. Very soon, the Town of Newburgh Town Clerk’s Office will be offering EZ Pass Tags for sale. A formal announcement of this program will be forthcoming in the near future.
