Newburgh FD was dispatched to a structure fire on First Street on August 7. City of Newburgh Police Officers arrived and got everyone out of the residence. Active fire was seen coming from second floor of residence. Newburgh Command requested Air Guard and West Point Fire Department to scene. Fire fighters used hand lines and ground ladders. Moble Life ALS had multi-ambulances at scene. Residents from the second floor were reportedly transported to Montefiore St. Lukes Cornwall.
