One of the employees at Cumberland Farms at 270 Route 17K in Newburgh, located tested positive for COVID-19.

They closed their doors on Tuesday, August 18 at 3 p.m. for cleaning and sanitizing by an industrial cleaning crew.

The store reopened on August 20.

“All Team Members that work at the store have been contacted and advised to follow CDC-recommended guidelines,” read Cumberland Farms’ official statement. “We are making every effort to provide the affected Team Member and our broader team with the necessary resources and support.”

Cumberland Farms did not have any further comment at this time.
