Students recently completed the requirements for graduation from their academic degree or certificate programs at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY. The college’s Class of 2020, which also includes students who completed their degree requirements in Fall 2019, encompasses students from around the Capital Region and around the globe, graduating from more than 80 degree or certificate programs.

Victoria Batchelor of Newburgh has graduated from the Digital Marketing academic program

Chase Sweetser of Newburgh has graduated from the Electrical Construction and Maintenance academic program

Christiana Wallace of New Windsor has graduated from the Liberal Arts and Sciences-Humanities and Social Sciences academic program

Zariah Wrancher of New Windsor has graduated from the Human Services academic program.

Colleen McLoughlin of Newburgh graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences rom Eastern Connecticut State University.

Kayli Berardinelli, of Newburgh, was one of 522 individuals to earn a degree from Assumption College, Worcester, MA at the culmination of the 2019-20 academic year. Berardinelli received a bachelor’s degree in English:Writing & Mass Communciation.

Siena College names students to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2020 semester. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student’s grade point average for the semester must be between 3.5 and 3.89.

Carina Donato of New Windsor was named to the President’s List for the Spring 2020 semester at Siena College.

Jessica Henry of New Windsor whose major is Music Education was named to the President’s List at SUNY Potsdam.

High school students from Orange County, have received scholarships to attend Berkeley College. Each year, these scholarships are awarded to high school seniors who demonstrate a high level of achievement. The scholarships are renewable, based on the recipient’s cumulative grade point average at the end of each academic year and continued enrollment as a full-time student.

The following students have received scholarships to attend Berkeley College:

- Tatiana Zapata of Newburgh, Newburgh Free Academy
