Tropical Storm Isaias. was fast and furious, Tuesday, dumping wind and rain all along the east coast.

As of 2 p.m., approximately 23,000 Central Hudson customers are without power, with nearly 290 damage locations reported, mostly located in Orange County and southern Dutchess County. Crews are currently addressing storm damage. Affected area included the City of Newburgh and New Windsor. A reported 1,000 customers reportedly lost power in an area along the i-84 corridor that included Balmville and the City of Newburgh.
