NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF
TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL
(Pursuant to Section 506 and 526
of the Real Property Tax Law)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Assessor of the Town of New Windsor, Orange County, New York, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year and a copy is in the Assessor's Office located in the Town Hall at 555 Union Avenue, New Windsor, New York, where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until May 28, 2024.
The Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll on May 8 th and May 9 th, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. And on May 15 th between the hours of 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. And on May 25 th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The Board of Assessment Review will meet on May 28 th, 2024 between the hours of 24 p.m. and 68 p.m. at the Town Hall, Town Supervisor's Conference Room, located at 555 Union Avenue, New Windsor, to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments on the application of any person believing themselves to be aggrieved. A publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the Assessor's office.
